Nicholas in Form 6 has impressed coaches with his batting and bowling skills at Yorkshire Pathways. Just four weeks into the U11 Bronze Yorkshire Elite programme, Nicholas has been fast-tracked up to Silver at Headingley Indoor Cricket Centre.
This is a brilliant achievement for the Ghyll Royd Sports Captain, who will now train and play for the Elite Programme’s B team, which is just the beginning for this talented sports star.
Pathways is for talented young cricketers whose skills and abilities have been recognised through their selection for junior representative sides at County and/or District level.
Nicholas previously represented the Bradford and Calderdale Under 10 Cricket team last summer and represented Ghyll Royd, winning the Cricket league in the School Sports Partnership. Both Nicholas and Charlie in Form 6 received places to Pathways Cricket at the end of last year.
