Alumni

As alumni you are the ones who really know what it is like to have been a pupil at Ghyll Royd School. You have shared many unique and unforgettable experiences and these experiences form the basis of a lifetime bond between the school, alumni, staff and those children and families who are currently here.

Over the years Ghyll Royd School has been a place of growth, education and where many cherished memories were made. Our alumni page is designed to help old friends reconnect, keep in touch and remind each other of their time at the School ensuring that this bond is continuously strengthened.

The Ghyll Royd alumni association has over 700 Old Roydians on our database and we want to reconnect with many others who once donned the Ghyll Royd blazer. We would like to build on our alumni network by creating a platform where you can reconnect with your peers, share updates about yourself as well as stay up to date with news and events from Ghyll Royd. We would also like to not only hear from you and see you at the School. Ghyll Royd hosts events throughout the year for alumni to come along and get involved with including readings at our carol  service, presentations at our end of term prize giving, House events and the cross country.

Please do keep in touch with news of address changes, contact details, career and other milestones in your life. We often have former pupils and families call by for a visit, join the children for lunch or tour the school for a wander down memory lane.

If you would like to connect with old friends and the school, have an idea for an alumni event or if you are interested in joining the schools Alumni Committee chaired by Alistair Freegard please contact Gilly Downs in the School Office.
