The good news just keeps on coming here at Ghyll Royd! Pick up a copy of The Sunday Times (17/11/19) to see our school in the Parent Power Top 10 Independent Preparatory Schools list. The ranking is based on our 2018 SATs examinations where our results were the 9th highest in the country!
Headteacher David Martin said: “We owe this fantastic achievement to the dedication of all our staff who prepare our children for the exams and also to our children for their positive and dedicated approach to learning. This achievement is a wonderful way to round off 2019 and another accolade to celebrate in our 130th year.”
This news comes in our 130th year after a whirlwind of accolades for our School including receiving Gold in the School Games Mark and being ranked one of 3 finalists in the Independent Schools of the Year Small School awards.
Mr Martin added: “We have had numerous families start with us this term – it is a very exciting time to be joining Ghyll Royd and we are looking forward to what the new decade will bring for our small, hardworking school.”
