Miss King Prepares for Ghana Trip

Following on from our visit from Educate the Kids yesterday, Miss King is travelling to Africa once again to volunteer over half term. This time, Miss King will be visiting the Calvary Chapel Academy in Pepease, Ghana where she will be teaching children less fortunate than ourselves.

Miss King is asking for help for second hand supplies to take with her with the Church On The Way Group. We’d really appreciate your help with donations of:

  • Sea creature toys
  • Playdoh and Playdoh toys
  • Glue sticks
  • Scissors
  • Colouring equipment
  • Tin foil
  • Paint brushes
  • Paint

Miss King would like to stress that these items do not need to be brand new, and would appreciate any donations to help with her trip. The children would really benefit from these items for the lessons Miss King has planned.

Please drop off any supplies to the School Office before the 16th October. Thank you in advance. To see what difference your sponsorship made to Miss King’s last trip, view the Ghyll Royd News.
