Putting Practice Makes Perfect!

Gabriel in Form 2’s golf season is in full swing and he’s been getting lots of practice in after school.

Following on from the previous week’s win, Gabriel played the next event of the Tigers Club Medal at Leeds Golf Centre. With the better weather, the course conditions were a bit better!  He played some cracking golf and managed to take first place in his division of 15 boys and girls, with the best gross score by 4 shots and ultimately also took first place with the best net score!

Gabriel also played at Moor Allerton Golf Club on Sunday 29th April on the season opening event of the JP Junior Tour.  He played well in very chilly conditions and was happy to win best gross score in his division by 7 shots!

Gabriel is one talented young man and we always love hearing about the tournaments and competitions he has competed in. Good work!

Please keep sending in all your wonderful achievements!

If your child has achieved something new, or has a special hobby they’d like to talk to us about, please send in your certificates/work/awards and any pictures to Miss Wilson in the School Office.
