Outdoor Poetry

Form Two used their senses to describe the school grounds in an outdoor, multisensory English lesson. Here are a couple of their poems.

Poem 1

I can see a huge, massive, colossal, thick tree.

I can hear the humming of cars.

I can smell the sweet sunshine.

Poem 2

I can see snowdrops brewing.

I can hear the crunching of leaves.

I can smell the spring air.

I can feel the crusty leaves.

I can taste spring awaiting.

I can see mole holes.

I can dream of climbing the old, spiky tree and walking on daisies.

– William
