Spring has Sprung at Harlow Carr Gardens

Little Adventurers and Reception enjoyed a brilliant visit to Harlow Carr Gardens on Tuesday.

We visited the gardens to look for signs of spring. We sniffed flowers, looked at their pretty petals in all their brilliant shades of pink, purple and yellow! There were lots of other fun things to see and do including a long walk around the gardens to view the many flowers, plants and trees growing. We also saw these bright red and orange branches that looked like fire! A lady who worked at Harlow Carr told us that this plant was called a Dogwood plant, also known as Midwinter Fire.

There was an adventure playground to run around, climb and swing on burning off the energy from the our lunches, ready for a sleep on the bus back to school!
