Good Morning Parents,
I have been on site since 6am, cars, buses, trains and Independent school buses are moving safely and regularly on the Leeds, Skipton and Ilkley Road.
The immediate entrance and roundabout to the school front door has been gritted.
Currently there is no more snow forecast till later today at 5pm and there has been no snowfall on site from 11.30am yesterday.
Given the assessment above I am currently at 7.30am in a position to say that we will have a partial closure and open the school and pre-school from 9.00am to 3.50pm today Friday 2nd March.
The school will adopt a minimum pupil and staff movement around the site during today and also implement a drop off service at the front door for pupils and parents.
Please do not use any of the school’s side or back entrances.
There will be no assembly or Physical Education lesson today so please send children in suitable footwear and normal uniform.
