Great Explorers enjoyed icing their own melted snowman biscuits with Miss Coulton on Friday.
As the children continue to learn about the polar regions, they each had a digestive biscuit to ice and decorate. The snowman’s head was made out of marshmallow.
They had to spoon the icing sugar onto the snowman’s melted body then carefully, using their fine motor skills, squeeze the icing out of the tube to make the smaller details such as the eyes and face.
Miss Coulton said: “The boys and girls did extremely well at icing the snowmen as not only did they have to think about squeezing the tube, they had to be precise and careful with where they want pointing the icing pen and where they wanted the features to go.”
Their snowy creations look good enough to eat!
