At the end of every term we hold an awards ceremony where all the staff choose pupils to receive a variety of awards, certificates, trophies and commendations for their many efforts and talents that we have seen grow over that term.
However, we also like to celebrate and reward efforts all year round, from both inside and outside of school!
Lucy in Form 2 competed in her very first Karate competition in the under 10s category of the Wharfedale Karate Championship.
Yellow belt Lucy has started her martial arts alongside her mum who trains in a different class at Wharfedale Katate Club. Lucy won a bronze medal in the KATA section of the competition where she had to recite a series of movements.
A very well done to Lucy, what a great result for her first competition!
