Phoebe C in Form 4 is feeling inspired after her Easter holiday to Nepal!
After trekking with her family where she mets lots of Nepalese children, she felt that she wanted to help make a difference to the children who have been taken from their families and trafficked for forced labour.
Child Rescue Nepal work to free children from slavery and rescue and support children that are trafficked to rebuild their lives. They aim to reunite children with their families and help to promote educational opportunities for children that may otherwise not be able to access an education. By increasing a child’s educational opportunities they greatly reduce the risk of a child being trafficked.
Phoebe will scale Pen-y-Ghent, one of Yorkshire’s three peaks on 20th May to raise money for Child Rescue Nepal.
She is asking for friends to join her on this great challenge by walking beside her on the day. Bryony, also in Form 4, will be joining her along with others.
If you would like to sponsor Phoebe’s walk, please donate to her fundraising page.
Best of luck to Phoebe, Bryony and co.!
