On Friday we had our last Stay and Play session before the Easter holidays. Mrs Davis and Mrs Coultas will be back on Friday 28th April for more fun and games from 9.30am – 11.00am.
This week the Little Adventurers joined in the fun with the regular stay and players plus a couple of new faces. We all headed upstairs to the Music room and danced around with Mrs Coultas to some funky sounding songs. We banged, crashed and shook the instruments to may loud, exciting noises.
Downstairs in Art Splash we decorated egg shaped card with paint, feathers, glitter and all sorts. That was fun but very messy so we wore tabards to keep our clothes clean.
Outside, lots was going on! There’s so many different things to see, play and do at Stay and Play. Some children continued with their paintings, some children were read stories by their mummies and daddies, and some ran outside in their wellies.
We had an Easter Egg hunt and got to keep any chocolate eggs that we found, yummy! Mrs Davis handed out spray bottles filled with paint so we could decorate a big canvas outside – that was a lot of fun and we made a rainbow of colours.
Stay and Play runs between 9.30am and 11.00am on Fridays (term time only) at Ghyll Royd School and Pre-School. Booking is not required and refreshments are provided. Find out more about our Stay and Play sessions.
