Forms 1 and 2 set off on an exciting adventure to Skipton Castle last week.
Skipton Castle is over 900 years old and is one of the most complete and preserved medieval castles in England!
We had a great tour guide named Barry who helped us to explore every corner of the impressive castle. Barry helped us to understand all the different rooms of a castle and its uses. He also shared fascinating stories of what went on in the castle, as well as knowledge of the castle and its owners Lord and Lady Clifford.
Our tour guide’s stories allowed us to use our imaginations to think about what life was like when Skipton Castle was first built to provide protections and security from invaders!
