Pupils at Ghyll Royd School made their way down to The Grove in Ilkley for the annual pancake race.
A record 35 teams, equipped with their frying pans, ran the race which first began in 2009.
Our athletic pupils from Form 4 had to run as fast as they could, without dropping their pancakes! Mr Laycock and Mrs Ellis were cheering the boys and girls on at the finish line.
All participants received a goody bag for taking part, but we’re delighted to have won two races.

The annual race is always so much fun, and we already can’t wait for next year!
