On Wednesday 30th March 2022, the Ghyll Royd PTA bring an eggciting day of activities to celebrate Easter!
Children will be able to purchase a ‘Bunny Pass’ at £10.00 for access to an abun(ny)dance of activities! All proceeds will go to the playground fund.
Early Years
The Little Adventurers, Great Explorers and Reception event will include:
• Alphabet fancy dress – children and staff to dress up as something beginning with the letter of your first name. This can be anything!!
• A woodland Easter Egg Hunt in the woodland area for Pre-School and Reception
• Story time for Pre-School and Reception– We’re going on an Egg Hunt
• A visit from the Easter Bunny
• A treat from the Easter Bunny
• Guess the name of the Easter Bunny game
• A visit to the ‘Bunny Burrow’ for a bun
• A disco along with Easter games
• And a prize for best costume
Only children who attend nursery or pre-school on a Wednesday will be able to join in this time.
Forms 1-6 event
• Alphabet fancy dress – children and staff to dress up as something beginning with the letter of your first name. This can be anything!
• A game of Bunny Bingo
• Easter Egg Relay around the grounds – they will collect letters which will make up an Easter word
• A treat from the Easter bunny
• Guess the name of the Easter Bunny game
• Guess how many eggs in the jar game
• A visit to the ‘Bunny Burrow’ for a bun
• A disco along with Easter games
• Prize for best costume
Competition
There will also be an Easter bonnet/Easter Egg decorating competition where children are encouraged to make bonnets or decorate eggs at home to bring into school on the day where they will be judged, and prizes will be awarded.
Cost: £10 per ‘Bunny pass’ includes everything for the day – payment to be made by cash in a named envelope to the office or via transfer to the PTA bank account.
