Burley Bushcraft – Burley Summer Festival

Ghyll Royd School pupils and friends take part in bushcraft activity by making sticks to toast marshmallows

Part of Burley Summer Festival. Visit the woodlands of Greystone Manor, home of Ghyll Royd School, for an exciting bushcraft session. The event will be ran by forest schools teacher Vicky and bushcraft expert Mark.

Turn your hand to building camp fires, woodland craft activities to make something to take home and make your own bread twizzle sticks, or toast marshmallows on the campfire! There will be 6 sessions running during the day. There is a maximum of 12 children per one-hour session for just £1 per child.

Enjoy a trip to Ghyll Royd’s adventure playground while you wait (this will also be available for younger siblings to use). You can also treat yourself to cakes and refreshments provided by Ghyll Royd’s PTA.

Booking details for this event will follow in June. Check back to find out how to book! See all this year’s events by visiting Burley Summer Festival’s website.
