Brrr-illiant Fun!

The cold weather turned the Little Adventurers playground into a mini ice-rink last week. It was so much fun to put on our wellies, hats and coats and head out into the winter wonderland.

One of the water trays had frozen over. Mrs Davis and Mrs Watson held onto us as we glided across the tuff tray like ice-skaters. When we had all had a few turns, we wanted to break the ice.

Using mini hammers and tools, and our fine motor skills, we bashed and hit away at the ice breaking it into mini pieces. We each had a turn with the tools and loved seeing the ice get smaller and smaller.

A bit of cold weather doesn’t put us off, at Ghyll Royd we’re outside almost all day, every day!
