The children are provided with a full programme of learning based on the National Curriculum, with the addition of many extensions specifically designed to equip them with the knowledge and skills needed to prepare for life in today’s ever changing society.

Classes are taught in an engaging and imaginative way so that children enjoy their learning experiences. As well as teaching the core subjects Science, ICT, Mathematics and English we teach all foundation subjects through a very kinesthetic approach and the children enjoy a very active and physical education curriculum. We also offer a wide range of extra curriculum activities that vary each term; we have interactive whiteboards in many of the classrooms, an ICT suite and dedicated art, science and music rooms.

We also have a purpose built sports hall ensuring the children exercise regularly regardless of the weather. Our approach to learning and strong academic tradition ensures that children are well prepared to move onto and thrive at their senior school of choice.
