Early Years Foundation Stage Practitioner

Full-Time | Permanent

Start Date: As soon as possible

Salary: Competitive and dependent on experience

Hours: Full-time – Monday to Friday – 40 hours per week between 7.30am and 6pm

The Role

We are looking for a passionate Early Years professional who can contribute to the high‑quality provision within our Pre‑School and Nursery. The successful candidate will:

  • Deliver engaging, age‑appropriate learning experiences aligned with the EYFS
  • Provide warm, nurturing care that supports each child’s emotional, social and cognitive development
  • Work as a Key Person, building strong relationships with children and families
  • Create stimulating indoor and outdoor learning environments that promote curiosity and independence
  • Observe, assess and record children’s progress effectively, including contributing to the Two‑Year Progress Check
  • Support children’s creativity through music, drama, art, role play and imaginative activities
  • Uphold the highest standards of safeguarding, wellbeing and health & safety
  • Work collaboratively with the Nursery Manager, EYFS team and wider school staff
  • Demonstrate a positive, professional and child‑centred approach at all tim

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Level 3 qualified (or above) in Early Years
  • Warm, caring and genuinely passionate about early childhood education
  • Knowledgeable about the EYFS framework and committed to its principles
  • Skilled in observing, assessing and planning for young children’s learning
  • Creative, proactive and able to make learning fun, purposeful and inclusive
  • A positive team player with excellent communication skills
  • Committed to safeguarding and the wellbeing of every child
  • Reliable, professional and ready to contribute to the wider school community
