Experience Ghyll Royd School: Drop-in Workshops for Prospective Pupils

We are delighted to invite your child to experience life at Ghyll Royd School through our exciting drop-in workshops, designed specifically for prospective pupils and families considering joining our school.

Led by our specialist subject teachers, each session provides a dynamic and engaging learning experience, encouraging children to explore new topics with curiosity, independence, and enthusiasm. These workshops are a wonderful way for your child to build confidence, discover new interests, and develop a love of learning; hallmarks of a Ghyll Royd education.

During your visit, parents will also have the opportunity to meet our Headteacher, tour our excellent facilities, and see first-hand why Ghyll Royd was rated ‘Excellent’ in all areas by the Independent Schools Inspectorate.

Upcoming Drop-In Workshops Include: 

Year 5 – Creative Arts
Tuesdays, 2.00–3.30pm
Explore your artistic side in our purpose-built Art Studio and Music Room. Guided by our specialist teachers, these creative sessions are perfect for children of all skill levels.

Years 3 & 4 – Learning Challenge
Wednesdays, 2.00–3.30pm
Step back in time and uncover whether the Romans were rotten or regal! This interactive session is part of our immersive Learning Challenge Curriculum and is perfect for curious young historians.

Years 1 & 2 – Physical Education
Fridays, 1.30–3.30pm
Enjoy an action-packed afternoon of sport and movement in our dedicated PE facilities, led by our experienced sports staff, ideal for both budding athletes and energetic explorers!

We also offer bespoke workshops tailored to your child’s interests, just let us know what they love, and we’ll create an inspiring session just for them.
