Pupils at Ghyll Royd School secure places at their secondary schools of choice be it 11 plus, maintained or Independent schools through consistently completing entrance exams successfully, many entering into higher level streams and on academic, sports and musical scholarships. Our small class sizes and approach to teaching through the ‘Learning Challenge Curriculum’ enables the school to provide a very individual approach to learning, ensuring each child has the opportunity to reach their full potential.

‘Pupils’ study skills are excellent. These fully confirmed the school’s successful achievement of its aim to foster pupils’ creativity and love of challenge.’ (ISI, 2022).
