Ghyll Royd is always keen to support and raise money for local and national charity events.  Recent fund raisers include:

Ben’s Wish to Walk

Last year the children took part in a sponsored walk and a ‘Walk to School Week’ to raise money for Ben’s Wish to Walk appeal. The children walked a total of 610 miles donating £500 to Ben’s appeal.

Poppy Appeal

Earlier this year the school raised £70.76 towards the Poppy Appeal.

Children in Need 2010

Staff and children raised £210 in support of Children in Need by dressing in their spottiest outfits. We are now looking forward to supporting the charity in 2011.

Genes for Jeans Day 2011

In October staff and children raised £168 by dressing wearing their jeans for school for the day as well as sporting some wonderful wigs.
