Termly Fees and Registration

Termly Fees include 175 days (35 weeks) of tuition within a maximum class size of 16 children and the provision for any additional support and resources that may be needed, both for children who require extended challenge and for those who may need further support.

The Termly Fees  include daily home cooked lunches freshly made by our 5 Star rated catering team, morning milk and fresh fruit, a wide variety of sports activities including a weekly swimming session with qualified swimming instructors and a variety of indoor and outdoor extra curricular clubs.

Additional charges are made for Before and After School Care, Navigator’s Holiday Care, peripatetic music tuition, examinations and externally run extra curricular clubs, trips and visits.

Families who have more than one child attending will be offered a 10% reduction for a second child attending, 15% for a third child and 25% for a fourth child.

Scholarships are currently available for Academic, Music and Sport and are awarded to children who academically are likely to be in the top ten percent of their class, displaying artistic or athletic excellence or excelling in a personal extracurricular activity or area of study. Subsidised scholarship places may be offered up to a reduction of 50% depending on your child’s performance on their scholarship entrance day and examinations. No sibling discounts are available on subsidised scholarship places and scholarships are only available for children within Key Stage Two.

Fees for School and Pre-School are reviewed annually and any changes are effective at the start of the school year.

Ghyll Royd School strives to make its education accessible to all. To help make this possible a number of bursaries can be awarded by the Finance Governor per academic year. Bursaries are awarded by a set criteria and are allocated in as fair a manner as possible.

All bursary awards are reviewed and revised annually to reflect any changes in fees.

Parents wishing to apply for a bursary should contact the Headteacher to arrange a visit. If after the visit they wish to seek a place for their child they should complete and return entry and means test forms and return them to the school. The school will then notify the parents of the level of bursary available.

To register your child you can obtain a form from the school office by calling 01943 865575 or you can download a form using the following link: School Registration Form
