We expect all the children to wear the correct uniform at all times and that they arrive at school in cap (for boys) and blazer/duffle coat. We also expect that they keep their uniform on until they get in the car at the end of the day. Obviously we cannot insist but we would like to request that any children visiting in and around the Ilkley area after school, wear their full uniform. We do want the children to feel proud to wear the Ghyll Royd school uniform and hope they always look smart and well presented when they are wearing it. (Please could all the girls and boys brush their hair before coming to school). We expect all items of clothing to be labelled clearly. We find ‘sewn-in’ labels last the longest and are the easiest to read. (If you have bought something from the Second Hand Uniform Shop please take out the previous owners labels).
