Allerton Construction of Bradford has been appointed the main contractor for the creation of a brand new sports and drama hall facility at Ghyll Royd School for boys in Burley-in-Wharfedale, Ilkley.

The new multi-purpose hall will both successfully serve the ever growing needs of the school and serve to enhance further its reputation for sports for boys.

The multi purpose hall, which will be equipped with indoor cricket nets and with provision for both 5-a-side football and short tennis, is a demonstration of the passion and commitment for sports for boys by the Governors and Staff at Ghyll Royd.

Ghyll Royd School & Nursery, for boys aged 2 to 11; already act as host to the Ghyll Royd Open Cross Country Challenge and the Ghyll Royd Football Tournament.

In addition to the hall, extended dining facilities, four new classrooms, specialist teaching space for art and science and a new music studio will be created, reflecting the expanding needs of this busy growing school.
